Another staple to Oaxaca and one of the 7 moles native to Oaxaca, mole rojo is a delicious treat! Including the chilhuacle chiles and an abundance of other ingredients, this hearty sauce is a crowd pleaser!
The traditional process of roasting the “mulato” and “pasilla” chiles give it a touch of smokiness that give it depth of flavor while the almonds, nuts and raisins give it just enough sweetness making this an ideal mole for pork, poultry, seafood, strong cheeses and vegetables.

Ingredients: Guajillo chili, Ancho chili, pasilla mexicana chili, mulato chili, chilhuacle rojo, plantain, canola oil, peanuts, pure cane sugar, rosemary, sesame seeds, onion, raisins, garlic, sea salt, cocao beans, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon, cumin, pumpkin seeds, black pepper, anise, oregano, dried avocado leaves, thyme, clove, citric acid. Does not contain artificial colors or flavors.

How To Prepare:
On low medium heat add one packet of Mimole
Add two cups of water or stock
Stir constantly until disolved for roughly ten minutes
Salt to taste and serve!
